We are looking for a passionate and driven Business Systems and Data Analyst to join our growing PSI team.


As the Business Systems and Data Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and improving the process flow & organizational designs.

Position

  • Become deeply immersed and knowledgeable about operations, embedding yourself in core business functions and processes
  • Develops and leads process design or improvement initiatives within fast-paced environments, utilizing process expertise from multiple departments and providing analysis
  • Build and foster strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholder groups and business leads
  • Designs process flow & organizational designs
  • Product and Process Management – identify, recommend, and implement process and system improvements to enable the business to adapt and change where needed
  • Plan, facilitate and execute system / functional testing and UAT for projects and enhancements and train end users on newly developed systems
  • Responsible for completing integrated process analyses, identifying procedural and control deficiencies and recommending solutions
  • Assists in the planning, preparation, and maintenance of project documentation, changes in business rules, and maintains project issues logs and databases
  • Help with process design which can include introducing new technology, staffing and change to current structure
  • Provide support for developed enhancement or implemented apps
  • Researches business problems, define, design, and implement business intelligence reporting needs and dashboard solutions to address business problems.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities to leverage company data and data platforms, and build optimal business case for business growth
  • Advise business stakeholders on how to measure their business processes or advising on good metrics to use for different processes.
  • Identify what are the right things to measure from insight during the requirement gathering process and ensure requirements are align with what insights are business stakeholders looking for.
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize overall efficiency and improve quality


Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or IT related field
  • At least three years of previous experience in business systems analyst or business analyst
  • Project Management or Management Consulting experience a strong asset
  • Experience implementing NetSuite, SQL Database, Power BI, and Azure Cloud is a strong asset
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets
  • Project Management experience a strong asset
  • Exceptional planning, time management, organizational and follow-through skills with a strong sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
